Separate treatment of concentrated black (toilet) water and grey water originating from the shower, washing machine, etc. offers possibilities to recover energy and nutrients and and re-use the treated water. Both types of water also contain organic micropollutants and their behaviour during treatment is crucial for the design of the treatment units. To support several PhD students working in this field, we have a postdoc position available for one year with a possible extension of another year. If you are interested and have a chemical analytical background, and good knowlegde and experience with the application of GC-MS and LC-MS for the analysis of organic micropollutants in water and solids.
