How to reach NIZO food research
By car
From Utrecht
· Take the A12 in the direction of Arnhem
· At motorway junction Maanderbroek take the A30, direction Ede, Barneveld.
· Take exit 2, Ede.
· At the end of the exit, turn left in the direction of Ede
· After 2.3 km, turn left at the sign Industrial Area NOORD.
· Turn right at the first traffic lights. You are now on the Kernhemseweg
· After about 1 km you will see NIZO food research on your left
From Den Bosch, Nijmegen (A50)
· At the junction with the A12, take the direction of Utrecht
· Do not join the stream to Utrecht but stay in the deceleration lane and take exit 25 Ede-Oost
· Read on at * (under ‘From Oberhausen, Arnhem’)
From Oberhausen (Germany), Arnhem
· Take the A12 in the direction of Utrecht
· Take exit 25 Ede-Oost
· * Turn right at the end of the exit
· Follow the N224 to Ede for about 10 km
· About 1 km after the roundabout, go straight on at the traffic lights at the junction with the N304
· After 300 m take the exit Industrial Area NOORD, before the filling station
· At the end of the exit, turn left (behind the filling station)
· This is the Kernhemseweg. Cross the railway and you will see NIZO food research after 300 m on your right
From Amsterdam, Amersfoort
· Take the A1 in the direction of Apeldoorn
· At exit 15, take the A30 to Ede
· Take exit 2 Ede
· At the end of the exit, turn left and take the N224 to Ede
· Follow the N224 for 2.3 km, then turn left at the sign Industrial Area NOORD.
· Turn right at the first traffic lights. You are now on the Kernhemseweg
· After about 1 km you will see NIZO food research on your left
By train and plane
From Amsterdam Airport (‘Schiphol’) you can travel by taxi (about 85 km) or train (about 75 minutes) to NIZO food research. At the railway station at Schiphol Airport, take the train to Utrecht. Change there to the train with direction Nijmegen. This train will take you directly to Ede. Get off at railway station Ede-Wageningen.
Then take a taxi to NIZO food research (5 min drive).
Alternatively, take at railway station Ede-Wageningen the train with direction Amersfoort. Get off at Ede Centrum (3 minutes ride) and walk along the railway in northerly direction for about 1 Km until you reach the filling station at the provincial road N224. Cross the N224 and go left along the Kernhemseweg. You will find NIZO food research after 300 m on your right. (15 min walk)
